    Subject:  in this case, a person.
    Position:  in this case, a descriptive term that describes the Subject.  Example:  a hysterical subject (oooh Freud would love that!).  Or, more fitting for the topic at hand, a subject who acts vs. a subject who doesn't act.  An active subject vs. a passive subject.
